4 examples - upon technical areas

Explanation, analysis and argument is the framework for analysis
Step 1- significance of stereotypes
Step 2- opposites to create conflict 
Step 3- power relationship (who motivates the cut? Who is the main character?) casting is important 
Step 4- challenging or reinforcing stereotypes >> WHY??? (A-C)

Use the word soundtrack rather than music
Soundtrack score is when the music reaches it's peak and the mood of the scene
Cross cutting is when you have two scenes happening at the same time and the camera cuts between them
Establishing shot is usually used at the beginning of the tv drama and is usually used to show location
Long take is a constant shot that has no editing for a very long time 
Ambient sound is background noise 

Hustle clip
David Williams is usually associated to act in gay roles so they cast him for the role purposefully
The con artist has been put in the shot to make a contrast- opposites between the two women
Props - ring and watch sparkling showing wealth
Soundtrack is feminine due to the melody
Shop man is looking down at middle aged woman to show that she is inferior
